Fall in Love with Your Skincare

With the season change, comes a need to transition your skincare routine.  Whether you're looking to hydrate for these drier months or rid yourself of summer sunspots, here are the must-know tips.

If your skin tends to feel drier in the fall season, try adding a facial oil to your moisturizer to make it more emollient-rich. We suggest our Avocado Rosehip Moisturizer blended with a drop or two of our Amber Primrose and Facial Oil. This provides the perfect canvas for your make-up to be applied smoothly. Ensure your facial cleanser is not drying out your skin by avoiding ingredients such as sodium laurel sulfate which we have omitted in our facial cleansers.

Fall is also the optimal season to start targeting brown spots more intentionally. Optimize your results by using our Chili Cherry Plum Peel, or our Cherry Plum Peel. These effective peels contain alpha-hydroxy acids such as lactic acid and glycolic acid to reduce the appearance of deep wrinkles, fine lines, enlarged pore size as well as hydrating the skin. Use a peel once or twice a week at night to wake up to a fresher, more youthful complexion.

Don’t forget the sunblock!  Just because the weather’s getting cooler doesn’t mean we omit sunblock.  UV radiation is still very much concern during the fall season. Be sure you’re still diligently applying your sunblock at least every two hours with an SPF 30 or higher. It’s essential that your sunblock is a broad-spectrum, meaning it protects you from UVA and UVB radiation. This will ensure that you’re protected against sunburns as well as aging concerns such as the formation of deep wrinkles, fine lines, and hyper-pigmentation.
